Brass Butterfly Pendant

Over time I have made a lot of little pieces for jewels that for one reason or another did not find a home.  I cut out this star pattern in brass and immediately knew it needed some bling.

There are times on Nevis when the air is full of lovely little white butterflies and I have always liked the symbolism of guardianship and remembrance they imply.

Cast in pure silver and mounted on this golden coloured brass star are a dainty butterfly and a tiny blossom.
